We are a Fishing tackle shop in Paddock Wood, Kent,established in May 2010.
Fishing Emporium is now owned and run by Raymond and his Brother Stewart with their Partners Diana and Deborah or Jane as she prefers to be called,being in control of the financial side of the business !!.Being keen anglers we both saw a need for a local tackle shop to support the local angling community.
At the moment we cater mainly for aspects of coarse fishing with prices to suit all pockets.We stock sea fishing rigs, but will be looking to expand the range next year.
We are members of the local fishing club PWAACS which we actively promote and offer all members 10% discount. Membership forms are available in the shop.Additionally there are several Commercial fisheries in the area for which we are ideally situated, details can be found here on the website and in the shop.
Being keen anglers we are dedicated to provide a quality service to the angling fratertinity, selling quality products at competitive prices.
There is ample free parking for two hours next to our location. So not only can you visit us you can have a wander round the other shops in the vicinity. (ideal for the wife/partner while you visit us !!)
Our opening hours will be flexible according to demand and the fishing season.
Our aim is to help as much as we can to promote angling as a leisure pursuit, so whether you are experienced ,novice or non angler looking to start up we are here to help and advise where possible.

These are the easiest hooks you will ever tie!!
So how do they work? Instead of using a spade-end or an eye to form a knot around, they feature a tiny docking protrusion three-quarters of the way up the back of the shank, and an open curved aperture at the top of the hook.
To attach to a hooklength, simply double over the line, place the loop over the docking point, and then turn it four times around the shank before exiting out through the open curve and trimming off the excess tag - how easy is that?Just watch the videos to se how easy it is.
The hook not only sits perfectly on the line, but it is also said to reduce the line’s breaking strain by just three per cent - quite a claim considering that traditional methods sap line between 20 and 30 per cent.
These could be the biggest revolution in hook design for decades.
